I’ll get right to the point of this “30 Days of No Alcohol” thing. I drank a shit ton of alcohol throughout the month of December. I pre-gamed pretty good in November and ended up drinking almost all of December.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not bragging about drinking. But I do like having a beer…or 4…after a long day at the office and CrossFit.

Two days ago Laiken challenged me to a Dry January
I’m always up for a challenge. Hell, this blog started up again based on a challenge to not eat fast-food for 2 weeks. (Although Laiken sabotaged that!)
Not drinking for 30 days will definitely be one. I like my IPAs and newfound love of red wine too much.

But I’m hoping that these 30 days will allow me to focus more on clean eating and better training. Toward the end of December I could tell that I was slower and more sluggish in the morning and during my afternoon WODs.
30 Days of No Alcohol
So here’s to 30 days of being sober and me documenting everyday! ?
