How is it almost May already!?
I can’t believe how fast time flies. I mean, I know a lot of it has to do with the fact of having 2 littles running around, but dang!
We have a busy weekend ahead but also a fun one! We get to celebrate our baby cousins 2nd birthday, hang with friends and take Cooper to swim lessons!
What do y’all have going on this weekend?
Hope you have a great one and see you guys Monday for Meal Plan Monday!
Friday Faves
Fave Netflix Binge
This show has been all over social media. And I can see why. It is deep. Makes you think. We are about halfway in and can’t turn away. Have you guys watched it?
Fave Summer Drink
Oh man is this good! I have been drinking these two separately for a long time, but combining them, FREAKING YUM! The perfect Summer drink. So refreshing and tasty!
I didn’t use a recipe, but this is close:
Fill up cup with crushed ice (because, so much better than cubed! amiright?)
Fill half with Lacroix – I used Lime flavor
Fill half Kombucha – I used Cosmic Cranberry
Stick a straw in it and sip away! ?
Fave Snack
I am literally eating this again as I type. ? I’ve seen this combo a couple of times, but this week was the first time trying it. And I think I’ve eaten it everyday since. Plantain chips and Wholly Guacamole snack for the win!
Fave New Find
I came across this deal on Amazon randomly. I have been researching a drinking water filter, the Berkey, and have been really wanting one and knew that I would eventually want a shower filter, but this deal was too good to pass up!
The AquaBliss shower filter uses an active carbon charcoal and calcium sulfite mix to remove chlorine and other harmful impurities, traps heavy metals, such as lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and inhibits the growth of organic substances such as bacteria and fungi.
I’m excited to give this filter a try and will let you know if I notice any difference!
Fave Gym Moment
This exercise is such an intimidating one! Box jumps may look easy but you can get in your head so easy with these. I was so nervous trying to go for the 34 inch jump. The first time I tried, I failed at getting both feet on the plate at the same time. After some pep talk from my fellow gym-mates, I got it!
